A thorough understanding of
complex grant processes
There are numerous grants available to support woodland management and woodland creation. Our experienced team has a thorough understanding of these complex grants - and of the evolving policy as these grants change.
We offer advice on suitability of grants, complete applications and manage any ongoing obligations of a grant agreement.
Examples of grants available under the current Countryside Stewardship and Forestry Commission grant schemes include:
Management Plans – one off contribution to costs of producing a plan
Woodland management – 5 year agreements for woodland improvement as well as one off capital items such as invasive species removal, culverts and high seats
Tree Health grants – assistance with costs of tree felling and restocking after an infection
Rhododendron removal – one off capital grant
Infrastructure – contribution to costs of installing forest tracks and loading bays etc
Woodland Creation – tree planting and maintenance
Our long-term relationships with many clients enable us to maximise grant benefits by managing the woodland on a continual basis. We are equally happy working with customers who require a one-off service.
We can produce woodland budgets and manage the delivery and obligations of the grants in a financially structured way over the duration of the management plan.
